CAST IN WOOD

We had been planning to try this for a long time..... and finally got round to having a go at it last week. The piece of wood was cut out from a water fountain by chainsaw (very Rock'n'Roll!!). After trying several types of paper on some wastewood, we found one that seemed to work. So, we then printed the artwork and began the process... using a special see-through-when-dry glue, several layers were applied. Each time the glue was left to dry overnight. The piece of wood measures 40cm x 30cm. We were originally going to use the Welcome To Hell artwork, but decided to use the Black Metal artwork as it fitted better into the groves left by the chainsaw blade. So it is a unique (and very cheap - printed the artwork at home and just had to pay the special glue) VENOM ornament, something a little different!
