As you'll all know, DEADLINE would have been the follow-up to the POSSESSED album, but was never properly recorded or released, due to VENOM Founder MANTAS departing the band in 1986. The DEADLINE demos have been bootlegged onto vinyl in rfecent years. But a little known fact about the recordings is that around half of the guitar work is by MANTAS, while the rest of the tracks were recorded after MANTAS left, and feature JIM CLARE (aka JIMI C)...
