I'd guess this could be classed as Black Metal recycling.... an old steel sign, which we gave a bit of a clean. We then took one of the old car decals from years back, which actually turned out to be a problem - these decals are now quite old, and the backing paper did not come away as smoothly as it would when new. As I was removing the paper, little bits would tear off and stay stuck to the decal, and Mrs P had to use tweezers to remove each and every little piece. What should have been quite a quick, simple job turned into a rather long battle against time, as we had to get the decal stuck on to the steel before it dried out! Thankfully, in the end we prevailed and the sign is now bolted on to the side of a wardrobe in our hallway...
